Week 85: Ranglisky (if you can find out what that means I'm proud)

Alright here's the run down
This was another wonderful week!! We had so many great things happening in our area and zone! Including Zone Conference which I thought went very well!! The spirit really abounded as we all shared in our different thoughts and impressions in relation to the Mission Motto. I thought it was very uplifting and I learned so much from all that was shared as we were together.

We continue to teach many wonderful brothers! Many of our first lessons have now turned into 2nd and 3rd lessons. I've been amazed to see the teaching pool grow. I think we must all stop and take a second to more deeply realize the significance of the work still moving forward in tremendous ways even at such a time as this! With people progressing towards baptism. Missionaries staying VERY busy with lessons with those we are teaching, members of the church including recent converts and returning members. It's truly a marvelous time.

We continue to work with many wonderful brothers as I spoke of. There are a couple that I would like to talk about today! The first being Alexander. We have been teaching him for 2 weeks now and this week we had our first two lessons. Dima who was baptized in February (who is doing tremendously, preparing to serve a mission and receive the Melchezidek Priesthood) was able to join in on the lesson to talk about the plan of Salvation. He bore powerful testimony and it was a marvelous lesson that we had! We've really been including the branch in his teaching. They're so ready to help. We had a planned sacrament meeting for him to attend, but he went to bed late the previous night and over slept and was unable to attend. We however are hopeful for the coming week!

We had a first lesson with a man named Dmitry that was such a miracle! The spirit was really strong and he accepted the invitation to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it! At the conclusion of the meeting he introduced us to his son Roman! Which was really cool! It was awesome- in a way he gave us a non member referral and we are going to try to now teach the both of them together! He was first contacted about 3 months ago by some other missionaries in Kharkiv who gave us his number. The miracles as definitely accompanying us as we go about this marvelous work.

It continues to be a challenge to get people to church on Sunday but we are making stride and have had people coming on the English worship service 2 weeks in a row and things are going better there for us. Me and Elder Wilson have set many great goals that are pushing us to do better and help not only those we are teaching but the missionaries in our district and zone and it's really a joy to be serving right now and working towards these things. We are teaching often and seeing success in finding!

 Ангlish
Sooo the English practices are going good. This last one they asked us what our favorite word is in English and I thought really hard and I said. Probably, alrighty. I don't know if I used to say that a lot but it's definitely my go to now when I'm speaking English so I guess every Friday night at 18:30)) haha

We have some approved movies now we can watch on preparation day and literally watched the most precious film ever. I loved it, so go give it a try everyone! The fighting preacher.

Everything is literally going sooo well here so don't even worry about us. We've got investigators in the pool of teaching and ice cream in the fridge so you can't really hope for more.

Spiritual Thought
Luke 22:32 "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

My thought this week is really simple!! I'm so lifted and inspired by all the other missionaries across the world, by friends and family who reach out, by other missionaries here in Ukraine, by the members, by many. We have soooooo much to give and so many ways we can help. I hope we use this as a time to turn out and think of others and how we can lift and love! The Lord has given us a marvelous opportunity to do so!!

I love you alllll because you're замечательны
