Week 50: Blessings Pouring Down

Alright Everyone it looks like another one of them weeks has rolled around. The time goes waayyyyy to fast. Especially when you're super busy!

This week we didn't have as much meetings as normal we were free to do just a ton of missionary work so that's what we did!! I don't think I've worked so hard/effectively my whole mission! It amazing all the miracles and blessings that we see as we just give it our all in the work! I have a testimony that the Lord is so ready to bless us we just need to fulfill our part! May we all choose to do our part of what the Lord asks of us.

Exchanges
One of our responsibilities as Assistants is to do just an absurd amount of exchanges in one transfer and this week we had 2. The good news is that exchanges are absolutely awesome! It's an opportunity to serve with another missionary and just spend the day learning from each other and then by the end you've just got this list of things your can do and work on. What ever missionary loves, something to work on. This week I was with Elder Croft who's from California and has been on his mission 2 weeks now and then Elder Ospina who is one transfer behind me. It was tons of fun! To just come to their areas and work super hard!

Reports
We do a lot of reports on different things as assistants and my first few transfers as an elder in the office have been helping me their for sure. Also who knew AP statistics as well as computer tech classes would be helping me out here on the mission? I didn't, but I know now! We've been making all these charts and graphs and different things and they've been super helpful! President was impressed and we impressed ourselves Haha.

Day in the Life of Elder Halls
So I thought it might be interesting for you all to know чем мы занимаемся вообще as missionaries here in Ukraine in Dniproville. Whenever we aren't teaching someone whether that is a member or someone investigating the church we are out on the the streets CONTACTING!! Which is awesome. We basically just walk up to everyone and ask them questions about what makes them happy and invited them to learn about the gospel. That's basically what we do every day! It's actually the best! Sometimes we also have other things like English Practice too!

This week!
This was an amazing week! We saw so many miracles me and Elder Rasmussen worked really hard and talked to very many people! We also found a lot of people interested to me and talk with us about the church! We had a bunch of lessons. With Israel, David, Nikolai, Maksim, Andrei, Sasha.
Speaking of which I can't believe I almost forgot we found a family же! They're awesome!! They live a little ways out of the city. Sasha and Vika are the parents and then they have 2 kids Mark and Gleb. They're incredible, they already have a great understanding of the gospel and trials and the Atonement. They already have family home evening multiple times a week and read out of the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They ready for the gospel the only thing holding them back is they live a ways away from the branch. But Sasha told us about how he wants and thinks we should start a branch out by where he is. He even told us he though about starting his own branch there himself and getting enough people to come so the church recognized them as an official branch. Of course that's not how it works but we love the enthusiasm Sasha! We're so excited about them!! They're really close to baptism!

Also we had a really good first lesson with David he really wants to know these things are true and is ready to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it! Were excited to work with him moving forward! He speaks French but luckily Sister Carlson knows French and David speaks decent enough English anyways.

Nikolai came to church which was great! He really enjoyed it and he's progressing good as well. Hopefully he'll start really reading the Book of Mormon amd praying.

Our investigator Maksim right now is getting really hung up on the fall and Adam and Eve and can't really progress until he understands that so were gonna get cracking away at that шишка here soon.

Spiritual Thought
This week we've talked a lot about prayer and blessings with many different people and that's what I want to share with you all today!

Heavenly Father has countless blessings prepared for us and in fact he constantly is blesses us. Sometimes with all we have going on and whatever we are focused on we don't see that but they're always their. Sometimes many different things separate us from the blessings or hold us back from seeing them. We should seek those blessings seek to recognize them! Strive to see them in our life and avoid those things that keep us from enjoying all the blessings that have been prepared for us!

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" -Matt 7:7

Love you all and all the best!!!
